Maury's Suggestions for the 15 for 25 Destination Ride Challenge to Hell, Michigan
September 26-28, 2025
Routes:
Option 1. I-94, Milwaukee through Chicago (Toll Road) to Ann Arbor
MI. 436 miles, 7:02 travel time. Two night stay over. Saturday, tour
Ford Museum and Deerfield Village after Hell picture stop . Sunday,
return home, same route. Alternate route home would be going north
across the Mackinac Bridge through the upper peninsula. 551 miles,
8:32 travel time.
Option 2. Take the Lake Express ferry, Milwaukee to Muskegon
Michigan , arrival time: 4:00 ET. Ride to Grand Rapids (39 Miles) for
overnight stay. Ferry cost is $203 for one person and motorcycle.
Saturday ride to Hell, 113 miles, 1:46, then ride 270 miles, 3:53 travel
time to Mackinac City for overnight stay. Sunday return home after
crossing the Mackinac Bridge through the upper peninsula. 280 miles,
4:52 travel time.
Option 3. Take the Badger ferry from Manitowoc to Luddington
Michigan. Arrive Luddington at 7:00 pm. Ferry cost is $186.50 for one
passenger and motorcycle. Stay overnight. Saturday ride to Hell
Michigan, 208 miles, 3:11 travel time. Then ride 270 miles, 3:53 to
Mackinac City for an overnight stay. Sunday cross the Mackinac
Bridge through the upper peninsula to home. 280 miles, 4:52 travel
time.
THE MOST POPULAR OPTION SO FAR...
Option 4. Ride from Fox Valley through the upper peninsula to
Brighton Michigan for a two-night stay. 543 miles, 8:24 travel time.
Saturday tour Ford Museum and Greenfield village after Hell picture
stop. Sunday return home via same route.
Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Fox Valley WI Chapter #5521 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
